Pray For CCMB

John 15:16 “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.”

I notice three important reminders in this text that call us and help us to pray for Cornerstone Church – Myrtle Beach.

1. God has chosen His workers so that they would bear fruit. 
2.  God answers prayer to equip His workers.
3. God is glorified by our dependence on Him and His subsequent provision.

We believe that our church planting efforts will totally fail unless God is in this. We also desire that God receive maximum glory in every step of this. So join with us in pleading that God be glorified through the provision of our needs to the end that He would be glorified. 

So here’s a detailed prayer list:

1. Team Unity – so that we may display the love of Christ
2. Hearts of Locals - pray that God would burden peoples’ with their need for the Gospel and to be involved in a healthy church.
3. Jobs – Scott, Kevin, Kelly, Nathan, and Steve are all looking for jobs in a bad job market. Please pray that God would provide sufficient jobs that would also enable us to minister
4. Worship Leader – we are still in need of a Godly man to lead us in worship
5. Home Bible Studies – as soon as we have a family in MB we plan to begin inviting people to meet with us in our homes to study the Bible. Pray that people would attend and that this time would bear fruit.
6. Financial Provision – God has provided thus far and while we have immediate provisions, pray that God would continue to provide for the financial needs of the church.
7. Strategic Home Locations – pray that God would give us wisdom as we find apartments and homes and that we would be a loud witness for Christ in strategic locations throughout the MB area.
8. Team Holiness – we are a sinful people and desperately desire to be clean instruments in the hands of The Cornerstone (Eph. 2:20). Pray especially for humility and love.
9. Pastoral Wisdom - pray for our leadership team that we would care wisely for those the Lord entrusts to our care.
10. The Glory of God - pray that God would take great delight in building His church and all of Myrtle Beach would come to love and cherish the Name of Christ.
